REUNIONES INTERNACIONALES DEL PROYECTO
Kick-off Meeting (KOM) en Granada
El viernes 12 de enero de 2024, los socios de DAW se reunieron en Granada, acogidos por Neotalentway, para celebrar la primera reunión de lanzamiento del proyecto. Tras la bienvenida por parte del anfitrión, la reunión comenzó con una presentación de la ciudad de Granada y algunos datos históricos sobre la misma por parte de Neotalentway. Sucesivamente, Neotalentway y Skill Up presentaron la Actividad 1 Toolkit de Competencias Inclusivas; hubo un debate sobre las Buenas Prácticas, como primera parte del Toolkit. A continuación, los socios debatieron sobre el webinar internacional como parte de la actividad 1; los socios prepararán un webinar internacional para presentar el Toolkit, en el que deberán participar al menos un total de 40 participantes. El seminario web se grabará para poder compartirlo. La fecha fijada para el webinar es el 9 de febrero de 2024 a las 16.30 horas.
A continuación, los socios debatieron la segunda parte del proyecto, referida a las actividades transversales de administración general, administración presupuestaria y redacción de informes, de las que se encargará la Fondazione Monnalisa. La parte relacionada con la Calidad será gestionada por Skill Up; la difusión por Neotalentway; mientras que la Sostenibilidad será gestionada por la Fundación CEL.
Finalmente, los socios procedieron a la presentación de las Buenas Prácticas. Esto ha suscitado un discurso sobre la importancia de las familias de las personas discapacitadas como posibles partes interesadas en el proyecto. En este marco, se ha suscitado un debate sobre la sostenibilidad del proyecto a largo plazo, y los socios han debatido la posibilidad de crear un nuevo proyecto en un futuro próximo como continuación de Diversity at Work, que podría centrarse en las familias de las personas discapacitadas.
TPM in Kielce
On Thursday 21st March, the DAW partners met in Kielce, hosted by CEL Foundation, for the second TPM of the DAW project.Successively, Neotalentway and Skill Up presented Activity 1 Toolkit of Inclusive Competences; there was a discussion on the Good Practices, as the first part of the Toolkit. Then, the partners discussed the international webinar as part of activity 1; the partners will prepare an international webinar to present the Toolkit, where at least a total of 40 participants must be involved. The webinar will be recorded so that it can be shared. The date set for the webinar is the 9th of February 2024 at 4.30 pm.
After this, the partners discussed the transversal activities of general administration, budget administration, and report writing, for which Fondazione Monnalisa will be responsible. The part related to Quality will be managed by Skill Up; the dissemination by Neotalentway; whereas Sustainability will be managed by CEL Foundation.
The overall experience about the training was highly positive, with explicit feedback indicating the success of the training sessions. Trainers expressed admiration for the project’s innovative approach and were particularly appreciative of the mentoring component. This aspect was instrumental in enhancing their skills and confidence in working with individuals with cognitive disabilities. Discussions during the training sessions also shed light on the broader significance of such projects. Participants emphasized the importance of initiatives like DAW in fostering greater sensitivity and inclusivity within public institutions.
Discussions surrounding Activity 2 focused on the practical implementation of outcomes from Activity 1. Consisting of a pilot testing, this phase involves the real-world application of developed tools and methodologies. Internship arrangements were delineated, with Monnalisa and CEL entrusted with conducting internships for a total of 20 participants in Italy and Poland (10 participants per country); the traineeships will be done by 5 trainers per country. Skill Up and Neotalentway will provide invaluable mentoring support, focusing on imparting social skills and tutoring techniques. Eventually, the duration of the internships will last 3 months.
In the end, partners pointed out that training sessions can be organized according to the preferences of each organization involved.
Final Event and meeting in Arezzo
The partners met in Arezzo on 26th and 27th September to close the project. All the activities have been supervised and everything has been successfully concluded, only the final event is missing.
This great event started with the greeting of the President of the Fondazione Monnalisa Piero Iacomoni. Then the CRESCE association and the promoters of the RIDA Project (Raccordo interventi disabilità adulti), who have contributed to the DAW project with their good practice in helping people with disabilities to achieve autonomy, contributed with their speeches. Then, Barbara Bertocci, Creative Director of the Fondazione, made her speech.
Finally, some participants with cognitive disabilities gave their experience after the DAW project and how it helped them. It was an emotional event, where journalists from Arezzo’s main newspapers and TV media were present.
